Search Gilliam County Busted Mugshots

Condon has no county jail of its own, so Gilliam County sends adults in custody to a regional facility, and the regional custody roster is where a search starts. That setup changes the search. Sheriff reports stay with the county office, court cases stay with the court, and the roster covers only the custody snapshot in between. A booking entry shows someone reached the regional system, nothing further. That regional custody roster, backed by a request to the office holding the file, is the source of Gilliam County busted mugshots, and the court file answers what happened after the transfer.

Gilliam County Busted Mugshot Records

If someone was arrested in Gilliam County and lodged, the records sit at Northern Oregon Regional Corrections, or NORCOR, in The Dalles. The sheriff works out of Condon. Adult custody, though, happens at the regional facility. Four counties built NORCOR together under ORS 190.265: Gilliam, Hood River, Sherman, and Wasco. That regional setup explains why hunting for a stand-alone Gilliam County jail roster often misses the real source.

Each record tells a different story. Booking records cover custody after an arrest, a surrender, a court-ordered report, or a hold. A sheriff report describes an incident, while a court file tracks the case itself. These papers are not kept in one place. NORCOR's public table lists only adults currently held there, so it will not show every Gilliam arrest. NORCOR Adult Corrections is the place to start for a lodged Gilliam arrest, since the facility, not the Condon courthouse, is where that record lives.

Gilliam County adult custody information at NORCOR Adult Corrections

The regional custody record, the sheriff report, and the court case are three separate things. Keeping them straight makes any Gilliam County record search sharper.

Gilliam County Busted Mugshot Records pulls together booking photos and arrest details from local law enforcement. Each entry ties a mugshot to a name, a booking date, and the charge listed at the jail. Rosters update often, so a fresh check turns up new faces. Busted records here simply mirror what the county releases.

Gilliam Booking Record Fields

NORCOR's roster keeps things lean. The published table shows a page date and time, the inmate count, a position number, an image slot, the name, the booking date, charge text, bail, and a scheduled release. A fuller detention file may hold much more, but the agency publishes no complete booking-packet schema. Want a copy? Name the person, give an approximate date, state the record type, and note your preferred format.

A roster only shows who is in custody now. Once someone is released or transferred, the listing disappears. Request the specific detention record or sheriff-held file you actually need, then follow the case through the courts.

Get Gilliam Booking Records

Start by asking who holds the record. NORCOR keeps regional detention material. Gilliam County holds sheriff reports, and Frontier Regional 911 keeps dispatch recordings and call records. Court documents belong to the court. Flooding the sheriff with everything slows things down when NORCOR actually has the booking file. One more tip: if you want the booking photograph, say so plainly. Photos get evaluated separately from the rest of the detention record.

  1. Identify the record type: current custody, detention packet, sheriff report, dispatch recording, or court document.
  2. For regional detention material, use NORCOR's Public Information route and identify the person and date.
  3. For a sheriff report, use the Gilliam County public-records form with dates and subject matter.
  4. For the result after a case begins, use the Gilliam court records process and name the case or documents sought.

NORCOR takes requests several ways: by mail to Administration, 201 Webber Street, The Dalles, OR 97058; by email at inquiries@norcor.co.wasco.or.us; by fax at 541-298-1082; or in person. Its fee schedule lists $25 in labor for ten or fewer pages, 50 cents per black-and-white page from 11 through 50, and 25 cents per page beyond that. Photographs, DVDs, or video run $20. Costs possibly topping $30 trigger a written estimate, and payment or a deposit comes before access. Even a paid fee does not guarantee photo disclosure.

Gilliam County itself uses a different schedule. Pages cost 25 cents, certification adds $5, a county USB runs $25, and you pay actual delivery costs plus personnel or review time. The sheriff's extended fee schedule is available on request. Criminal-record requests go to Gilliam County Sheriff's Office, ATTN Chris Fitzsimmons, 221 S. Oregon Street, PO Box 685, Condon, OR 97823, 541-351-9530, chris.fitz@gilliamcountyor.gov.

ORS 192.324 and ORS 192.329 set the timing. A public body has five business days to acknowledge or finish a written request. Ten more business days are allowed for completion or a reasonable estimate. The clock can pause. Clarification questions and authorized fee payments both stop it.

Note: A detailed request helps the right custodian respond, though access still depends on exemptions, redaction, and the record itself.

Oregon Busted Mugshot Law

Oregon separates an arrest record from the photo taken at booking. Under ORS 192.345(3), crime reports and arrest records are disclosed with room for exemptions and redactions. A records request can work. It just won't always return a full, unmarked file. Investigative interests, privacy, sealed cases, victim details, medical data, and juvenile protections can each narrow what comes out.

The photo rule is different. ORS 133.870 bars law enforcement from releasing a booking photo outside listed situations. Those include certain agency uses, release to the person pictured, case participants, victims, licensed investigators, an approved public law-enforcement purpose, and wider release after a conviction. That's why the generic NORCOR image placeholder is not a public photo gallery.

One narrow exception targets publish-for-pay sites. Under ORS 133.875, an ordinary request may force a publisher to remove or destroy the photo within 30 calendar days, with a fee cap of $50. Paperwork showing an acquittal, a nonprosecution, or certain set-aside, vacated, or pardoned outcomes starts a seven-day clock instead. No fee applies there. But that seven-day right is not universal. It reaches only qualifying requests and qualifying publishers.

People say expungement. Oregon's actual remedy is a court set-aside under ORS 137.225. Eligibility turns on the case: the offense, the time passed, the sentence completed, and the exclusions. Begin with the OJD set-aside information. A court order covers the official records it names. It can't force an unrelated private page to change on its own.

Two large secondary publishers post their own removal steps. RecentlyBooked's policy lists grounds like dismissal, a set-aside, inaccuracy, wrong person, youth, or duplicates, while warning that an accurate current record may not qualify. JailRosters' form says its request is free. Neither site answers to Gilliam County. Either can change its rules.

The controlling text is the statute itself. The Oregon booking-photo statutes quoted below explain why a jail request and a web roster can end with very different photo outcomes.

The statute is no photo-access guarantee. It simply sets the rules NORCOR and every other agency must follow for the record in hand.

Find Gilliam County Busted Mugshots

Work from custody status. For anyone lodged at the regional NORCOR facility right now, start with the live table. Released, transferred, or never listed? Go to the right records custodian, then the court. State-prison and federal locators matter only after custody changes hands. Gilliam County has no sheriff new-bookings page, city booking log, jail app, or historical mugshot gallery to check.

  1. Open the official NORCOR roster and check its displayed timestamp first.
  2. Use the browser's Find command for a surname because the roster has no public name box or Gilliam filter.
  3. For current status, charges, or a release within the last 24 hours, use the roster or NORCOR's published line, 541-298-1576.
  4. Request a detention record, sheriff report, or court copy from the holder that owns it.
  5. Use ODOC, federal, or immigration tools only when the person's custody state fits that source.

Oregon VISOR handles statewide custody status tied to NORCOR. Sign up anonymously and get confidential notices by phone, email, or text when something changes. What it won't do is show booking photos or court outcomes. The sheriff's Facebook page is a public-safety channel and nothing more. No policy makes it a booking feed.

Busted and Booked at NORCOR

The NORCOR Adults in Custody roster is the live table for the regional adult jail. Call it a Gilliam County Jail roster and you'd be wrong. It also holds people from Hood River, Sherman, Wasco, and other holds. The list runs alphabetically and covers current custody only. No booking-number field exists. No date-range search, city or county filter, or archive either. To tie a name to Gilliam County specifically, confirm through an agency, a court record, or records staff.

The official roster appears in the capture below. Its image column can pass for photos at a glance. Look closer. The live rows carried NORCOR's generic no-photo graphic, not individual booking shots.

A missing name can mean release, transfer, a different facility, or no NORCOR lodging at all. Check the timestamp. Then use the records or court path rather than trusting one row to tell the whole story.

Gilliam Recent Busted Bookings

No official Gilliam County or NORCOR feed covers same-day, 24-hour, 48-hour, 72-hour, weekly, or historical bookings. The cities are dry too. Condon, Arlington, and Lonerock run no feed of their own. The nearest verified instruction sits on NORCOR's bail page. For an adult in custody, a release in the prior 24 hours, or charges, use the Adults in Custody page or call 541-298-1576.

That path gives current status and a staff contact, not an archive. Roster booking dates can trail the page timestamp. The person may still be held. NORCOR posts no first-appearance timing, no refresh schedule, no weekend surge report, and no history for released rows. When the live view falls short, a detention request or court case is the fallback.

NORCOR's Bail Information page is the source of the recent-release instruction shown in the capture below.

Gilliam County NORCOR recent custody and release information

NORCOR releases people as soon as it can. The timeline still bends to practical things. Unit checkout takes time. Changing back into civilian clothing takes time. Staffing and operational needs can push a release back too. None of that adds up to a guaranteed release hour for anyone listed.

Note: For current Gilliam custody status, use the live roster or contact NORCOR directly rather than looking for a published multi-day arrest log.

Gilliam Court Results After Booking

A live jail row tells you almost nothing about the court side. There is no case number on it. No court date either. To bridge from a booking to an actual case, the Gilliam court records page points to the OJD search route and its copy process. OJD has reported its Online Record Search unavailable, though, so the clerk and records-request route is the dependable fallback. Basic online case information also won't match every filed document.

Gilliam County Circuit Court handles state-level circuit cases. NORCOR's court directory lists two more: Arlington Justice Court and Condon Justice Court. Those contacts only fit a matter actually filed in that justice court. An arraignment is when a charge is formally addressed, and a disposition is the eventual outcome. Bail figures, release dates, and intake language on a roster reveal neither one.

Gilliam Circuit Court's records page is the link between a current custody entry and the later case record.

Gilliam County court record route for arrest disposition

Keep the booking snapshot and the legal result in separate mental folders. Charges sometimes change after the initial booking entry, and the court record is what tracks that evolution.

Gilliam Adult and Youth Records

NORCOR's adult facility is not where youth records live. The facility runs distinct adult and juvenile components. Oregon puts strict limits on juvenile fingerprints, photographs, and case material through ORS chapter 419A. A young person's booking image or case information should never be treated as public just because an adult roster is.

Adult records have their own wrinkles. Some qualify to be sealed or set aside. An old internet capture or dated news item proves nothing about what remains public now. Ask the record's custodian for the real thing, and follow the court's current procedures when relief might apply.

Gilliam State and Federal Records

The Oregon DOC Offender Search covers adults held by the Department of Corrections, not fresh Gilliam bookings. It takes first, middle, and last name plus SID number, with wildcard help from ODOC. A profile there may list agency identification, current status, a location, current-incarceration details, and an offender image where one exists. A DOC photo is not a booking photo. Don't expect one on every profile.

Missing ODOC-held record? The department's Public Records Center handles those requests. Two federal tools round out the picture. The Bureau of Prisons Inmate Locator tracks federal custody and has no public booking-photo field. The ICE Online Detainee Locator covers immigration detention and excludes anyone under 18. Neither confirms a Gilliam arrest nor substitutes for NORCOR.

Current custody
An adult at NORCOR may appear on the regional roster.
Released or transferred
Use the records office and court because the live row may be gone.
State custody
After a qualifying sentence and DOC intake, the ODOC locator may be relevant.
Federal or immigration custody
Use BOP or ICE only for that distinct custody system.

Gilliam Busted Mugshot Sources

Start with official sources. NORCOR, the sheriff's records route, the courts, ODOC, and the federal locators each answer a different official question, so match the tool to the question. Local reporting comes next in line. The Times-Journal runs periodic Gilliam sheriff reports, and Columbia Community Connection hosts regional police-log material. Gilliam arrest news sources lays out the documented coverage and how a story connects to a record.

Two county-local secondary sites exist worth naming: RecentlyBooked's Gilliam page and JailRosters' Gilliam index. Handle both with care. Neither proves current NORCOR custody, a release, or any court outcome. Several other familiar publishers have no verified Gilliam section, so an unrelated Oregon page should never be passed off as Gilliam coverage.

Busted Mugshots by Gilliam City

Condon, Arlington, and Lonerock all feed into the same chain. Bookings flow from local police to the sheriff, then to NORCOR adult custody. Each city still sits in its own records context, though. None has a documented municipal booking log. The city pages hold onto that fact. They invent no police department or roster that doesn't exist.

  • Condon Busted Mugshots: sheriff-served county seat, with the sheriff and circuit court in the Condon area while adult custody is regional.
  • Arlington Busted Mugshots: documented City-Sheriff contract, City Hall records form, and Arlington Justice Court context.
  • Lonerock Busted Mugshots: no city-specific online booking or police system located, so the sheriff, NORCOR, and court routes lead.

A regional roster row alone can't tell you which Gilliam city an arrest ties to. Confirm the agency, the record holder, or the court before making that call.

Gilliam Historical Booking Records

Keeping a booking record is not the same as posting it. Oregon's 2025 county schedule sets minimum retention for local booking records and mug shots. Homicide cases must be kept 20 years. Felonies run 10, and misdemeanors five. Nothing in that schedule forces a county to post photos online. NORCOR detention records, sheriff reports, court files, and archival holdings each sit with a different custodian. So expect to look in several places.

The Oregon State Archives Gilliam inventory lists a Gilliam County Jail Record covering 1925 through 1976, stored in the courthouse lower vault. Entries captured release and entry dates, physical description, arresting officer, crime, sentence, bail, court, and remarks. Some portions stay restricted for 25 years after custody ends. It is an inventory of paper volumes, not a web gallery. A useful request names the person, an approximate custody date, the field you need, and your preferred copy type.
